Tarakad Ramachandran, M.D. Dr. Ramachandran is the vice president of the foundation.
About Dr. Ramachandran is a professor of neurology and a clinical professor of medicine, family medicine, and neurosurgery at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He is a co-Program Director of the Neurology Department, Chairman of the stroke unit, and Director of the Resident Neurology Clinic at the University Hospital. He is also an attending Neurologist at multiple hospitals in upstate New York. At Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, Dr. Ramachandran is chair of the Neurology Department and led the committee to place a stroke unit at the hospital. Dr. Ramachandran is originally from India, where he received his Medical Degree at Stanley Medical College. Since then he has furthered his education at institutions in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. While he is a practicing Neurologist, Dr. Ramachandran is also known for his research on stroke and has published his findings in dozens of books and medical journals.
