Ned Sacktor, M.D. Dr. Sacktor is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His research interests are in the epidemiology, evaluation, and treatment of HIV-associated cognitive impairment both in the United States and in resource limited countries.
About Dr. Sacktor majored in biology at Harvard College before receiving his Medical Degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1988. He did a residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Internal Medicine and a Residency in Neurology at the Neurological Institute of New York. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Neurology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, where he has performed clinical research on the epidemiology, diagnosis, pathogenis, and treatment of HIV and Dementia in the United States and in Sub-Saharan Africa.
