About

Dr. Schneider has a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles. After working as a scientist at this college and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Schneider became the Editor in Chief and Vice President of Raven Press and expanded the focus of the publishing program to include all areas of internal medicine and selected surgical fields.

For twenty years, Dr. Schneider acted as the President and Publisher of Demos Medical Publishing, Inc, a company she founded with an emphasis on neurology, rehabilitations, and patient education. Currently, Dr. Schneider is President and CEO of DiaMed, LLC, a company that provides consulting services to small to mid-sized publishers. She is also a member of the Professional Advisor’s Circle of Columbia University Medical Center.
